Statement of Faith
The following are the core statements of our belief and practice. It is our desire to live and practice these and the other teachings of the scriptures through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
1. We believe in God, revealed in three persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
2. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, who was born of the virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and rose again on the third day.
3. We believe in the personhood of the Holy Spirit, that it is He who indwells the believer. He is the Paraclete of scripture and the comforter of believers.
4. We believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God, and that it is inspired, infallible, and the lifes manual for the believer.
5. We believe that prayer is one of the primary ways that God has chosen to communicate with humans, that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much, and if we ask anything according to His will He will do it for us.
